October 22, 2016The Good

- Soft snow seeker
- Good stability
- Handles a variety of turns and conditions
The Bad
- Not lively
- Favors a standup style
- Can feel planky
- More fun off-piste than on
Scott's Sage 100 is a ski that's built to follow the sun and the soft snow across the hill. Versatile and forgiving, without asking for too much effort from the skier, this is a true all-mountain ski for the majority of lift-served conditions. It's fun to ski!
Typically we rate products purely on their technical benefits. That’s not entirely so in regards to the Scott Sage 100 ski. The Sage brought more than a little soul to the slope. The kind of soul to which we cannot accurately attach a numerical rating scale. Except to say that this is one cool ski. The kind of old school all-mountain performer that does everything well with such a mellow can-do attitude that it had us all wanting to grow out our mustaches and re-grow some hair. So smooth.
If you want to go pure tech specs, check out some of the other reviews in this category. If you want a simple, well-designed ski that’ll make you feel good on the hill. Well here you are, bro.
