Rossignol Experience 100 HD 2017 Review
October 22, 2016The Good
- Balanced in every respect
- Purest arcs possible
- A pleasure to ski
- Powerful ski
- Confidence builder
The Bad
- Better for technical skiers
- More damp than nimble
- Prefers mid to long radius turns
Rossignol has a long, well-deserved legacy of making some of the best all-mountain skis on the market. The Experience 100 HD Ti carries on that tradition, providing an exciting mix of power and performance that is easy to access in a variety of conditions and speeds.
Rossignol’s Experience 100 HD Ti earned “Favorite” and “Excellent” ratings across the board with its truly all-mountain capabilities, providing an ease of performance and power wherever we took it on the hill. Built with the brand’s new Carbon Alloy Matrix, which facilitates fantastic edge hold some of the most fluid carving in this category, it also has superior float for the off-piste, where testers reported a buttery smooth contact with the snow.
Yes, this is a ski best ridden by technical skiers. And a couple folks reported a little less liveliness due to the damp feel. Overall, this is a top of the line ski that will open your realm of possibilities at any ski hill.
