Though more than twice the thickness of many competitors, the LithiumCard Pro more than delivers with fantastic battery life, outstanding power/performance, fantastic features with integrated USB and micro-USB charging cables. Durability may be questionable in higher stress/impact conditions but should be fine for general/everyday use. Overall, the LithiumCard Pro is an excellent device and an excellent buy.
The LithiumCard Pro earns a very close second place for longest battery life of all micro size portable chargers tested, and actually rivals chargers with higher mAh ratings. In our intensive, ‘real world’ tests, the LithiumCard Pro delivered over 240 minutes of power. Discharge rate is on par with industry averages for competitive devices.
The LithiumCard Pro delivers excellent power per cubic inch and ounce, nearly ties for second-highest scores in both metrics.
The LithiumCard Pro is built mostly from high-density plastic, with wafer-thin aluminum top and bottom plates. The aluminum dented/damaged easily under impact tests. The plastic sides and frames were durable and withstood torsion tests well, but stressed under compression tests and cracked/damaged under higher-stress impact tests.
The LithiumCard Pro offers 1 amp output and integrated power level indicators, and integrated micro-USB and USB cables. This means no separate charging cables to carry, forget, or lose. As such, the LithiumCard Pro (and it’s smaller sibling, the Lithium Card) have proved to be the most useful and convenient of any micro charger we tested.
While the LithiumCard Pro does not deliver the same amount of battery life per dollar as the Incipio Offgrid 4000, it does tie for second among all micro size chargers. Combined with outstanding overall battery life and integrated cables, the LithiumCard Pro is a great value and outstanding buy.
