Handful Y Back Bra A/B Review
December 13, 2016

The Good
- Soft material
- Comfortable fit
The Bad
- Not much compression
- A lot of extra material
Designed to “flatter not flatten” the Y Back Handful Bra features a luxuriously soft material and the brand’s signature Lights Out pads that fully lift and increase your bust size by at least one cup. Of all the bras in the test, the Handful Y Back Handful Bra is by far the most comfortable. The soft material and wide stripes make it feel good to put on. Although the bra features more coverage, it is not as compressive or supportive as other bras in this test group. The bra is better for low impact sports or the gym than for running.
Comfort
Wide and smooth straps on the shoulders, the Y Back design and a low wide band below the bust combined with soft material make this the most comfortable bra in the test.
Fit/Mobility
The Y Back Handful Bra fits and moves well while moving, stretching, and running. Testers said that even in hot and sweaty conditions the bra did not chafe. The bra is one of the most versatile in the test group for exercise and all-day wear.
Support
Although the material and design is soft and comfortable, the compression is minimal and the bra is not particularly supportive for running.
Breathability
The Handful Y Back bra scored is not as moisture wicking as others in the test group because it had more material was not as breathable. Removing the pads helps with breathability.
Style/Design
The Y Back Handful Bra is designed to go from “fitness to fashion” and “flatter not flatten.” Even small cup sizes will be happily surprised on the full feminine shape of the bra. The removable pads change the look of the bra drastically when inserted or removed. Once the pads are removed the style is not particularly flattering. but you will be hard pressed to find a better and more comfortable t-shirt bra.
