SkiLogik Carves Out Custom Deadhead Skis

The proud tradition of building boards for powder shredding Deadheads continues. It started with K2’s “Jerry Launcher” back in the ’90s, then Burton got on the jam bandwagon last year with a complete line of Dead-inspired boards. Now, SkiLogik is putting their own woodworked signature on the classic Steal Your ‘Line’ logo.

On Tuesday, the brand announced the release of yes, 420 pairs of numbered, limited edition Grateful Dead skis. Entitled Grateful Touch, they feature artwork using the imagery of the Grateful Dead which is available on any of SkiLogik’s models. Each pair is made to order, numbered and personalized.

“The partnership with SkiLogik is a natural fit for us,” said Sara Nemerov, SVP and Head of Global Consumer Products & Brand Licensing for Warner Music Group. “We are always looking for unusually high quality products that stand out from the pack. SkiLogik’s skis are unlike any others we’ve seen. We’re thrilled with their originality and believe Grateful Dead fans will love them.”

Here’s hoping for a little Cold, Rain and Snow to ski them on.
