Gavin Coombs

Gavin has competed at the highest levels from high school through college and now in ultra marathon trail races. With several wins and course records from half marathons to 50 miles, Gavin knows what it takes to be light and fast on the trails. He brings that experience to his gear reviews. With several years working in run specialty retail Gavin also brings a technical understanding of the fit, function and design of trail shoes. Understanding the makeup of the shoe allows Gavin to provide in depth reviews of all kinds of shoes. Gavin tests all different types of shoes in the trails and mountains around Boulder, CO where he lives with his wife and two young children.
