About Craig Rowe

Craig Rowe is willing to debate anyone on why Las Vegas is one of the better outdoor towns in the west, as long as his opponent abstains from leveraging the word “sprawl.” Of course, like most current Sin City residents, Craig hails from the east coast, so his southwestern roots run only so deep. Despite that, he and his wife have been traveling the west for years hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, skiing, surfing and generally eschewing the confines of traditional nuclear family standards. He’s been to NOLS, can traction splint your open femur fracture in the field and knows how to do his business in the backcountry.

Craig guides for Just Roughin’ It in the Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Park and provides copywriting and marketing consulting for a number of technology, education and real estate clients. He has written for a number of boring business publications, as well as High Country News. His blog is www.hikeclimbsurfrun.com.
