Icebreaker Anatomica Boxer Review
January 5, 2016

The Good
- Stylish
- Good wicking
- Versatile temperature regulation
The Bad
Fashion and function in your underwear. A tie with the Lululemon boxers for sexiest in the test—if we do say so ourselves—these boxers left nothing to be desired when buried under a pair of pants, either. Like we’ve come to expect from cozy merino wool they were soft next to skin, wicked well, dried fairly fast and regulated temps impressively.
Wicking
We knew it was a killer workout when we sweated these things up. They did an impressive job of pulling sweat off skin.
Dry Time
The lightweight jersey knit dried fast on and off the body. Any sweat build up dispersed across a large area quickly, off skin.
Active Performance
The mix of 96 percent wool and 4 percent Lycra creates a nice amount of support—just enough to keep everything in place without feeling too snug even when we were going flat out. The wide elastic waist band locked them in place—they never shifted and slid up. Flat seams kept chaffing at bay on the move.
Wearing Comfort
Using Icebreaker’s lightest and finest merino fibers—150 grams—these started out soft and cozy and only got softer with every washing.
Temperature Management
Merino naturally regulates like a thermostat and breaths really well. These lived up to their heritage. All our important bits felt comfortable in a variety of temperatures.
