THE VERDICT

In some instances, size does matter and in the case of the Zero Tolerance 0450, some users may find it too slight for what they’re looking for. Because of this, the 0450 is best as an everyday pocket knife. It’s premium materials will maintain its form and function for years and the drop point style blade can be used in almost any situation; making it universal.

FULL REVIEW

CONSTRUCTION & MATERIALS
The styling of the Zero Tolerance 0450 is sleek and refined, so the materials used and the way it’s built need to be as well. Choosing CPM-S35VN blade steel and sandwiching it between titanium provides a knife that will come to task whenever needed and will last a very long time.

EASE OF USE
The Zero Tolerance 0450 is lightweight and features a fast flipper that gets it from pocket to fully operational in seconds—but it is small overall. The size makes the 0450 a great choice for a “gentleman’s” pocket knife, and the drop point shape of the blade makes it a no-brainer for a back-up on the trail.

STEEL QUALITY/EDGE RETENTION
CPM-S35VN is a premium steel that not only keeps a solid edge, but pairs nicely with the sophistication of the ZT 0450. This knife will slice and dice for years to come before you need to hit the old sharpening stone.

DURABILITY
When a knife is comprised primarily of Titanium, durability is never an issue. With that being said, the ZT 0450 will last for years, once you get past staring at the contrasting red anodized backspacers.
