Nemo Harmony 40

The spoon shape drew acclaim from all our testers, though the women on the team especially like the fit – they are both side-sleepers – though they thought the bag was a bit ‘cold.’

REI Flash Sleeping Bag

Combining a blend of synthetic and down insulation, the Flash reduces weight and bulk, but drives up price. The Flash is cut for a snug yet generally comfortable fit. All in all, this bag proved well suited to series backpackers who want the protection of synthetic in damp conditions with the weight and space savings provided by down.

Columbia Reactor 35 Sleeping Bag

The best value in our test of synthetically insulated, 25-35 degree bags. With the reflective liner and the modest layer of synthetic fill insulation, the bag proved comfortably warm during cool nights in the desert, provided the mercury stayed above 40.

Nemo Rhythm 40

The spoon shape drew acclaim from all our testers, though the women on the team especially like the fit – they are both side-sleepers – though they thought the bag was a bit ‘cold.’

Mountain Hardwear UltraLamina 32

Winner of our Best in Class Award for synthetic bags rated 25-35F, the UltraLamina earns high marks for weight, size and function in damp conditions, despite a somewhat constricting cut.

LL Bean Adventure 25

The heaviest bag in its class proved to be among the most comfortable in the class as well. The bag provides good warmth to sub-freezing temperatures – if the extra ounces and bulky load don’t put you off, it’s a great option for affordable backpacking.

CW-X VersatX Bra

Out of twenty bras in the test, I thought this was easily the best running bra out there. CW-X scraps the old one-size-fits-all scheme and trades it out for a fully customizable, functional, supportive and comfortable high impact running bra.

Champion The Smoothie High Support Sports Bra

The Smoothie is surprisingly supportive, despite its deceivingly thin straps and luxurious fabric; our C cup tester reported it as one of her top picks. We felt it's best for medium to high impact activities.

Moving Comfort Juno

This is one of my top picks for larger busted women and high impact activities. From covered seams, to full customizability and superior support, this is one of the most impressive running bras I’ve encountered, though it may be a bit much for smaller users.

The North Face High Impact Sports Bra

This was our favorite traditional over-the-head compression bra in the lineup. No fancy features – the Stow-n-Go is a simple, comfortable, affordable, and supportive high impact running bra with the added convenience of a stash pocket.

Under Armour Protegee

The lightweight, comfortable Protegee is a fantastic high impact running bra for larger cup sizes with a front zip that allows for added compression and super easy on and off.

Adidas Techfit Bra

The Techfit Bra is your average, everyday sports bra that you wore for high school soccer practice. There are no fancy bells and whistles here, but for smaller bust sizes this is a great value at only $25.
