FULL REVIEW

Battery Life
Best-in-class among all small-size portable chargers tested, delivering a full 328 minutes of power in our intensive ‘real world’ tests. Discharge rates are low, however: the Kmashi MP806 charges devices at only half the speed of the industry average. Still, considering the MP806’s outstanding battery life, this seems to be an easy sacrifice.

Power/Size
While Kmashi’s MP806 scores high for overall battery life, it is not as efficient as other devices, and places lower in the pack for power:size and power:weight ratios among all small size chargers tested.

Durability
The housing on the Kmashi MP806 is predominantly high-grade aluminum, with a high-density plastic top and bottom, and lower-density plastic LED flashlight lens. While the flashlight lens (by nature) proved to be less durable, and the aluminum housing scratched somewhat easily, the device overall is quite solid, and withstood our impact and compression tests respectably well.

Features
Like all chargers tested, the MP806 offers a 1 amp output and integrated power level indicators. While is lacks integrated charging cables found in some competitors, it does exceed many by including an integrated LED flashlight.

Value
In terms of power per dollar spent, the Kmashi MP806 is a close second to its cousin, the Kmashi Victor K1. When accounting for considerably higher durability and the additional integrated LED flashlight, however, the MP806 is simply a better buy.
