Salt Lake City-based gear manufacturer Cotopaxi is looking for a true road warrior to join its team as it embarks on an ambitious schedule for 2017. The company is expanding its popular Questival series of adventure races across the country, and it is looking for someone to help play a crucial role in those endeavors.
The Field Marketing Specialist – aka the Road Warrior – will be the person responsible for driving the Cotopaxi truck and trailer to each of the Questival events, which will number more than 30 this year. He or she will also be tasked with sharing their experiences on social media and through blog posts, while also interacting with thousands of people who take part in the Questival races. The new hire will also run the company’s pop-up retail outlet with an eye on making that a successful venture as well.
Cotopaxi estimates that the Road Warrior will travel some 25,000 miles this year, visiting 30+ cities along the way. They’ll spend more than 370 hours on the road, crossing 88 state borders en route to the various Questival events, which will take place in a variety of national and state parks across the U.S. A love of camping is a big plus, as is retail and social media management experience too.
