Backcountry riders have embraced Weston snowboards, making the brand the second-largest supplier of split-boards in North America. Now Weston is formalizing their commitment to keeping those riders out in the snow by extending their warranty to four full years.
The new warranty applies to all Weston boards, including those sold in the last few years.
“A bedrock of our design philosophy and brand values are durability and taking care of our riders,” says Leo Tsuo, Owner of Weston. “We felt it was important to formalize this and offer one of the best warranties in the industry.”
Tsuo notes that the 4-Year warranty covers all Weston boards, including those purchased in the past, from manufacturer defects for a period of up to four years.
Beyond the warranty, Weston also has committed to helping riders get back into the backcountry has quickly as possible through their Board Slayers program. This program helps riders whose board breaks due to impact and which doesn’t qualify for the 4-year warranty against defects. For these broken boards, Weston offers a 30 percent discount off the price of a replacement board.
“Our boards are designed to be ridden hard. We recognize that with that stuff happens,” says Ben Hilley, Brand Experience Manager. “We want to make sure that if your board breaks to impact we can get you back out there as fast as possible.”
