Seth Portner

Seth Portner discovered his passion for mountain biking at a young age and began to race competitively after moving west to Colorado in the late 1990s. He specializes in XC, marathon and ultramarathon riding and racing, but also often disappears on multi-day road tours. He’s also an accomplished ultrarunner and XC skier. He now supports his passion for cycling by working on large scale residential and commercial energy efficiency projects. Seth grew up in Maine, attended school at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and holds a MA in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado in Denver.Seth, his wife and their daughter all split their time between Lyons and Winter Park.
