Teva De La Vina Wool Boots Review
May 16, 2016The Good
- Waterproof
- Comfortable for long wear
- Stylish details
The Bad
- Scuffs easily
- Not very warm
The Teva De La Vina Wool boots are extremely stylish with leather and wool accents, and are also very comfortable—there was no-break in period and no hot spots during long wear. Compared to other boots with leather that didn’t mark up or fade, the leather on these became scratched and faded around the toes and sides of the boots after just one wear.
Style
The Teva De La Vina Wool boots work well for everyday wear, but also look good with a dress and tights. The buckle details and the felt wool backing around the calf add flare to the sleek boots.
Comfort
Of the boots tested, the Teva’s faired extremely well when it came to comfort for all day wear with no break-in period. The footbed was comfortable and the upper was not as stiff as other boots tested, but still felt secure around the ankle and calf.
Traction
On icy surfaces, the Teva boots faired well with a rubber, lugged outsole. Compared to other boots tested, these boots had average traction.
Warmth
The boots are warm while moving, but feet became chilled when standing still in freezing temperatures.
Quality/Durability
The Teva De La Vina Wool boots were extremely marked up on the toe after the first few hours of wear, and continued to mark up on subsequent wears thereafter.
