FULL REVIEW

Easy to ski, responsive, stable and forgiving, Salomon’s Quest 115 happily goes just about anywhere on the mountain. A high scorer in several categories, its versatility makes it easy to steer in a variety of conditions and turn shapes. Confidence-inspiring and ready to rock no matter what the weather, this is a true big mountain/all-mountain ski that could easily cover you for the entire season.

The caveats are the tips did start to dive in some of the deeper, cruddier snow we tested it in, with a little less float than other skis in this category. It also gave up some that confidence when we tested it on the hardest snow we could find. Overall, though, it’s a great all-terrain machine.
