Rossignol Star 7 Women’s Skis – 2014/2015 Review
September 16, 2014The Good
- Float
- Super sweet swing weight
- Fun to surf
The Bad
- Not damp
- Missed a little of that "Rossi Charm" on hardback
Looking for that first choice ski for first tracks? The amazing float and easy steering of Rossignol's Star 7 could be your perfect fit.
Pretty easy to make the Rossi Star 7 your go to ski on powder days, when all you want to do is surf the deep. With amazing float, an intuitive swingweight that makes this ski especially easy to turn in all conditions, and a playful slarve-ability when you want to ripple through the white room, the Star 7 can turn a great day into a best day in a matter of minutes.
The ski is not as damp as some of our testers would’ve liked, and got jostled a bit when they tried to edge down and plow through the terrain hits. Other Rossignol skis–even the wide ones–had better performance on the hardpack. Still, if you’re looking for your first choice for first tracks, storm days and heli-drops, this just might be it.
