Rossignol Super 7 (2013/2014) Review
August 31, 2013The Good
- Great in all conditions
- Super responsive
- Very forgiving
- Fun to turn
The Bad
- Hardpack
- Off-piste specific
Incredible float, category busting versatility and agility in all conditions, and an eat-up-the-acreage energy all helped set the Super 7 atop the testing pedestal.
Rossignol’s updated Super 7 tore through the big mountain category, earning rave reviews for both its quick response and light feel, as well as it ability to absolutely charge big lines. Fun as hell to ski, it rips powder, is wonderfully forgiving in mixed snow conditions, and would be an awesome pick for snowy lift-served days as well as for an AT setup for folks who never ski in-bounds.
There are more stable skis for high performance, hardpack skiing in this test, but frankly that’s not what we think big mountain skiing should be all about. Incredible float, category busting versatility and agility in all conditions, and an eat-up-the-acreage energy all helped set the Super 7 atop the testing pedestal. Check them out for yourself and you’ll be inventing superlatives of your own.
