The Good

  • Fun
  • Super stable
  • Nice lightweight feel
  • Versatile in lots of different terrain
  • Lots of energy but with a damp hold

The Bad

  • Can ski short--aggressive skiers may want to try a longer model
THE VERDICT

Head's Total Joy just barely edged out Rossignol's Temptation 100 to take the Best in Class award for Women's All Mountain Ski. It really is a Total Blast to ski!

FULL REVIEW

Wow! Just wow!. Head’s Total Joy knocked our testers’ socks off. Why? Because it’s so much fun to ski. Confident, quick, with a lightweight feel, it’s designed with such a perfect flex that from tip to tail you can feel grabbing the snow. Easy to initiate in any conditions, with such a round arc that it encourages a steady rhythm and turn shape, everyone who skied the Total Joy was inspired to the fall-line no matter lay below.

This ski will wow you, whether you’re an intermediate or an expert. The only drawback? The fact that you’re not out skiing on the Total Joy right now.
