Atomic Century 102 Women’s Skis – 2014/2015 Review
September 15, 2014The Good
- Floats like a butterfly
- Very maneuverable
- Quick in tight trees
The Bad
- Can be overpowered by aggressive skiers
- Lost some points on hard snow
Atomic's Century 102 is a fun, maneuverable ski that floats well in soft snow. Both more aggressive and bigger skiers can overpower it, especially on hard snow. Our testers recommend it for powder fans who like to ski with a light touch on mostly Western terrain.
Atomic’s Powder Rocker and Lite Woodcore help make the Century 102 an absolute delight to ski in powder and off-piste conditions, with a float and maneuverability that will appeal to a wide range of skiers. Our testers said it “floats like a butterfly,” “felt really light,” and was “super maneuverable in the trees.”
More aggressive felt they could overpower it, especially when they tried to make bigger turns on firmer snow. Definitely recommended for less technical skiers who want a ski designed to have as much fun as they do.
