Lisa Altomare

Lisa Altomare has been an outdoor enthusiast for as long as she can remember – escaping her job as an Art Director to hike, camp and ski as frequently as possible! From her home in sunny Arizona she regularly hits the trails, exploring the state’s incredible canyons, deserts and mountains. She is the founder of the hiking website azutopia. Her writing and photography has been included in publications including Dorado Magazine, AZ Outdoors Magazine, and others. Lisa lives with her husband, Patrick, crazy wire-haired dachshund, Petunia, and two cats. She takes her two college-aged daughters into hiking whenever they’re home.
