Siber is a Durango based freelance writer.
While testing ski equipment, Kate Siber has logged 33,000 vertical feet of powder in a day, named a brand-new run at Bearpaw Heli-Skiing, narrowly missed an avalanche (not recommended), skied next to otter and grizzly tracks, drank Veuve Cliquot at the world’s best slopeside champagne hut (in Zermatt), and got proposed to on top of a ski lift on a powder day (answer: yes).
While at home in Durango, Colorado, Siber works as a freelance writer, a correspondent for Outside magazine, and a senior editor for the new WomensMovement.com. Her work has appeared in a number of other publications, including National Geographic Traveler, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Budget Travel, and Men’s Journal.
