The Good

  • Extremely comfortable
  • Very stylish and versatile

The Bad

  • Toes marked up quickly
  • Poor traction
THE VERDICT

The Ugg Kesey boots didn’t have the best traction, but are on top for style—the upper is a mix of a waterproof leather, a dark textured shaft, and a wraparound buckle. They were comfortable to wear for long days right out of the box. They appeared worn and marked after a few wears, but did not mark up as much as other leather boots tested. Overall, the Ugg Keseys were cute enough to wear out on the town and to the office, and kept feet warm and dry in all sorts of conditions.

FULL REVIEW

Style
The Ugg Kesey boots are a combat-style boot that come in brown and black, and can easily be dressed up or down. Compared to other boots tested, the Keseys come in on top for style points.

Comfort
These boots zip up snug and are perfect to wear all day and night, even when on your feet. With an inner zipper, the boots are easy to get on and off without having to use the laces.

Traction
On icy and snowy sidewalks, the Ugg boots did slip sometimes and are not recommended for extremely icy walks.

Warmth
Even in 19 degree, windy weather, the Ugg boots kept feet warm while walking around. While standing, toes did become slightly chilled.

Quality/Durability
After the first initial wear, the toe of the boots faded after kneeling on the floor during the workday. However, compared to other leather boots tested, the Keseys are not as marked up after more wear time and continue to stay looking clean.
