The Good

  • Contoured and lightly padded cups for discreetness and shaping
  • Padded straps
  • Cleavage mesh zone
  • Smooth interior seams with thoughtful placement
  • Needed some help with the back closure for the first few wearings

The Bad

THE VERDICT

High-impact support, with the shaping and coverage of contoured cups, make this a Cadillac of combination bras and a great running bra. In fact, this is the one I grab whenever I have a group or work run because it’s that effective.

FULL REVIEW

This combination-style athletic bra was the first back closure sport bra I’ve worn repeatedly. While I’m slightly embarrassed to admit that I needed help the first couple times I put it on, the fit and support of this bra is well worth the effort.

Fit
In the fit category, it has a surprising amount of adjustability. The back closure has three different options, shoulder strap length is adjustable and the straps themselves are convertible from standard to criss-cross. Once this bra is on and adjusted, it stays put and so does your chest. While this is an ideal running bra, I did notice that it was tighter than I would like for yoga class.

Breathability
To combat sweat buildup, the Vero features two layers of cleavage mesh, as well as textured dots to aid airflow, on the chest band. Shoulder straps fit snuggly without digging into my shoulders and the soft trim prevented chafing. There is one reflective pop on the back.

Care
The Vero is designed to machine wash and dry and is still holding up well after 25+ washes.
