Waterproof breathable jackets aren’t that breathable once the inside and outside fabrics are glued to the membrane.
Startup Voormi has developed a new way to make waterproof breathable garments—they weave face and back fabrics right through the membrane, no glue required, before they cure it and reseal it. The method, called Core Construction, lets Voormi use natural fibers like wool as well as synthetics, and it lets them control how breathable and how waterproof the jacket is. Voormi.com.
