Putting together a complete set of cookware for our backcountry excursions can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. Finding all of the pots, pans, bowls, and various other accessories that work with your particular stove sometimes requires patience and tenacity. But GSI Outdoors is looking to make the process a smooth one with the introduction of their new Dualist Complete cook system.
The Dualist Complete package will combine GSI’s popular Pinnacle Dualist cookware set with a lightweight backpacking stove to give consumers a truly all-in-one system. It includes two bowls, two insulated mugs with sip through lids, and two telescoping Foons. It also features a boiling pot that comes equipped with a strainer lid and a fold-over locking handle. The set even comes with a stove bag and a stuff sack that doubles as a sink for easy after dinner clean up.
The included stove is a high-output model that burns isobutane and is capable of putting out as much as 10,200 BTUs. It includes windscreen for use in poor weather conditions, and tips the scales at just 5.8 ounces (168 grams). When combined with the Pinnacle Dualist set, the entire package weighs 27.4 ounces (776 grams), making Dualist complete an incredibly lightweight and convenient product.
The new cook system is expected to arrive in stores next spring with an MSRP of $109.95.
