We just came across this video from a basejumping accident that happened on November 24, in what looks like Moab. After pulling his chute, the jumper swings back toward the wall—right at a fin of rock, which explodes in slow motion on impact.
According to UnofficialNetworks.com, the jumper survived, albeit with a compression fracture of the T12 vertebrae, stitches, and severe sprains. It’s hard to believe considering what he did to the rock.
