New TGR Flick Marks Legendary Media Brand’s 21st Birthday

Teton Gravity Research (TGR), global leader in youth-culture media, marks the media house’s twenty-first year in business with the release and global tour of its latest film “Tight Loose.”

“The tighter your show, the looser you can be,” TGR says, and the film will premiere September 17, 2016 at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, Wyoming.

TGR’s world-class storytelling has captivated audiences for 21 years and the global, multi-channel media house has pioneered everything from extreme sports film making to social media over the last two decades. It’s thriving millennial audience, award-winning multimedia film projects, rapidly growing experiential platform, and online content continue to set TGR apart as a leader in the space. The brand is also active in the advocacy community as members of Protect Our Winters, 1% For The Planet, BICEP, Surfrider Foundation and IMBA.

In 21 years of traveling the globe and pushing the boundaries of outdoor film making, TGR has experienced a full spectrum of adventure in a constant evolution of refining a lifestyle—keeping things buttoned up in order to seize the moment when it gets to the edge of control.

TGR says Tight Loose is its highest achievement to date. From India to Alaska, they discover unridden spine walls, massive airs and full-throttle riding in some of the wildest and most spectacular places on earth. Twenty-one years of TGR athletes reunite for a massive group shred of the Palisades at Squaw Valley.

“Tight Loose marks the beginning of a production year involving some of the most significant undertakings in our history,” said TGR CEO Todd Jones. “This movie is not just a huge celebration for us, but is shaping up the beginning of a year for the record books. Twenty was big, but you always remember your twenty-first birthday.”

Following the September 17 world premiere in Jackson a worldwide live-event tour commences for the winter of 2016/2017.
