The mtnGLO component of this, and several other tent models, features LED lights integrated into the tent structure. In short, mtnGLO provides overhead lighting in your camp domicile.
The modified dome design of the Rocky Peak 4 mtnGLO ($350) provides great interior space with easy set-up. The full-coverage fly seals about weather, while broad mesh panels on the tent body allow good ventilation to prevent the tent from getting too stuffy, or allowing condensation to form. Three AAA batteries are all that’s required to power the strings of tiny LED sewn into the tent seams, yet those lights provide enough illumination for occupants to play cards, or even read.
The mtnGLO system is integrated into several other tent models as well, ranging car camping models to the new ultralight 3-season backpacking Ripple Creek UL.
