FULL REVIEW

Salomon’s Quartz XT12 Ti earned rave reviews from our testers, with half of them labeling it their “favorite,” and the other half rating it either “good,” or “excellent.” The ski’s energy and responsiveness were cited as the main reason, as well as its unbreakable stability on the hardpack. Ease of initiation and edgehold also earned high marks, with one tester saying, “these skis are as confident as Uncle Pete carving the Thanksgiving turkey!”

The most aggressive skiers felt more race minded boards delivered more power and high speed performance, and the Quartz did get pushed around a little in the off-piste. Overall, this is one–if not THE–most versatile skis in the Frontside test.
