Rossignol Super 7 Men’s Skis – 2014/2015 ReviewSeptember 28, 2014
- Does just about everything very well
- Super responsive
- Amazing float
- Lots of fun to ski
- Loses effectiveness on hard snow
- Very aggressive skiers may want a more traditional ski
If there is ever a Hall of Fame for powder skis, Rossignol's Super 7 will be one of the first inductees. It is an incredibly versatile, wonderfully fun ski.
One of the highest scoring skis we’ve ever tested, Rossignol’s Super 7 flat out earned its “Favorite” status among all but a handful of our testers. Fun, nimble, playful and maneuverable in all conditions, this ski hits the hill with a kind of upbeat, bring it on attitude that fills you with confidence and can’t help but make you smile. An Air Tip for easy turn initiation, a Paulownia light core for ethereal handling, and an aggressive sidecut for quick arcing (or not), help make this one incredible ski.
The only kind of skiers who won’t like this are race-style chargers who want to arc and spark like they’re running a soft snow downhill (and who may find the Blizzard Bodacious more their speed). The Super 7 easily takes home Best in Class in the Powder Category.
