K2 Shreditor 112 Men’s Skis – 2014/2015 Review
October 27, 2014The Good
- Superior sluff-ability. Maybe best in class
- Great float
- Forgiving ski
The Bad
- Not as lively
- Softer in the shovel
True to the big mountain category, K2's Shreditor 112 handles a lot of different conditions with aplomb and versatility. There ARE more dominant high speed skis in the category.
K2’s Shreditor 112 delivers most of what you would expect to find in a true big mountain ski. Its ‘sluff-ability,” (i.e., the way it remains stable and easy to ski even in sluffing snow conditions) is just about best in class in this category. It also floats well, which means you get plenty of room to initiate a turn no matter how mixed the snow conditions.
It does not rail or charge as hard as some of the stiffer skis in this category. But if you want versatility, this is an easy pick as your go-to all-terrain soft snow ski.
