K2 Remedy 102 Women’s Ski – 2014/2015 Review
September 14, 2014The Good
- Dependable
- Predictable
- Handles a variety of off-piste snow conditions
The Bad
- Not very lively, or playful
- Did not stand out in particular category
As one tester aptly put it, the K2 Remedy is "the nice guy of women's skis." Great for a typical day of lift-served skiing when there is new or recent snow, it did not own any single category.
K2’s Remedy 102 was rated by our testers as a stable, dependable ski that could be counted on to handle a variety of mixed and new snow conditions. It handled well on all of Snowbird’s lift-served terrain, which resulted in a general feeling of confidence in everyone who skied it.
The ski did not, however, stand out in particular category beyond its overall stability. “Fun enough,” with “solid float,” one tester still remarked that this ski is “just nondescript,” adding “it does most things well but not outstanding.”
We recommend this ski for K2 fans, and skiers looking for a reliable lift-served condition ski. High-speed rippers and those who want a little more pop underfoot should keep looking.
