FULL REVIEW

Every tester who got on Fischer’s Motive 86 found something to like, from its versatility to its edgehold to its turn initiation to its competitive retail price. It is a solid carving ski that is responsive and inspires confidence on edge. One tester remarked, “It skis like a soft race ski,” in reference to its easy to attain level of performance.

The only knock on the ski is that it is not a specialist. While other skis wanted to go faster, carve harder and generally set your hair on fire, the Motive 86 is satisfied with delivering a wonderfully rounded all-terrain performance.
