The Good

  • Rockered tip blasted through bumps and crud
  • A real all-mountain machine

The Bad

  • Doesn’t come with a pre-selected binding system
THE VERDICT

Calling all adventurous skiers, Blizzard's Black Pearl is for everyone from intermediates looking to up their game to experts searching for a carvy all-mountain ski.

FULL REVIEW

This ski was full of energy and really felt like it propelled through the turn from start to finish. It handled high speeds with total confidence and stability.

Float
A fatter, slightly rockered tip makes the Black Pearl more floaty off-piste than similarly narrow skis.

Versatility
You’ll be able to take this ski anywhere. Tight turns through the trees? Check. GS turns on groomers? Yep, it can do that, too.

Length
You get lots of options in length. Four to be exact: 152, 159, 166, 173 cm.
