Armada ARVw Women’s Skis – 2014/2015 Review
September 15, 2014The Good
- Straightlining
- Likes bumps and trees
The Bad
- Not versatile
- Not always stable
Armada's ARVw definitely got a little beat up by our testers. While they liked it in the bumps and trees, and straigthlining, it did not instill confidence in technically proficient skiers.
Armada is a strong brand, but the ARVw was not ranked as one of their better offerings. While most of our testers liked this ski in the bumps and trees (where a lot of all-mountain skiing takes place), in other conditions, such as groomers or steeps, performance was limited. The overall consensus was that confident skiers who like to straightline more than they turn, or intermediates who want to bash soft moguls will be the most likely to enjoy this ski.
