Planning to travel in the weeks ahead and need something durable and spacious to help you lug all of your gear around? Then you’ll definitely want to check out the new Cargo Hauler duffels from Eagle Creek. Released just a few weeks back, these bags are durable, affordable, and surprisingly lightweight.

Made from a new fabric called Bi-Tech Armor Lite, the Cargo Hauler duffels are designed to allow travelers to carry all of the gear they need in a convenient way, without adding any undue bulk or weight. For example, the large  version of this bag features 90-liters of storage, but weighs just 2.2 pounds. That’s about half the weight of similar duffels that are offered by the competition, which are often pricier as well.

Despite its thin stature however, the Cargo Hauler is incredibly tough. The Bi-Tech Armor fabrics are meant to be tear, puncture, and abrasion resistant, allowing them to shrug off the physical damage that is often brought on by an over-zealous airport employee for example. They’re also designed to be carried to remote corners of the globe, and are built to withstand the punishment that comes along with adventure travel. In fact, Eagle Creek even backs them with its “No Matter What” warranty, which promises to repair or replace the bag if it is ever damaged in anyway.

The designers at Eagle Creek didn’t skimp on other features either. The Cargo Hauler comes equipped with grab handles on either end, padded top holders, and removable backpack straps. It’s U-shaped lid provides easy access to the spacious main compartment, while two smaller organizational pockets on both ends help to keep important within easy reach. The bag even has a foam-padded bottom to help protect is contents, as well as reflective highlights that make the duffel more visible in low-light conditions. It even folds up and stores away in a front-end compartment, making it incredibly easy to store your Cargo Hauler when its not in use.

The Cargo Hauler comes in four sizes: 45L ($89), 60L ($99), 90L ($109), and 120L ($119). Each shares pretty much the same set of features, mostly varying in just size and price. Which one works best for you depends entirely on the style of travel you prefer, and how much gear you have to take with you when you hit the road. Either way, this is one duffel bag you’ll be happy to have at your disposal when you need it.
