Have you always thought that you’d make a good outdoor gear designer if you ever got the opportunity? Well, now’s your chance to show the world what kid of skills you have. Outdoor gear manufacturer High Sierra is currently running a contest that gives us the opportunity to design our own backpack with the chance to win some great outdoor products in the process.
The aptly named Design-A-Pack contest challenges would-be designers to download a special template for High Sierra’s popular Emmett backpack. They are then encouraged to fill in the template with any color scheme or design they like, and upload it to the contest website before the March 20 deadline.
After the contest closes, the very best submissions will be posted to High Sierra’s Instagram account for all the world to see. Online voting will open on March 21 and run through April 4. The eventual winner of the contest will be announced the following day.
Entrants into the Design-A-Pack contest will be playing for the chance to not only win a $500 High Sierra shopping spree, but also the opportunity to see their design actually featured in the the Emmett backpack line-up and sold in stores.
