Climbing Magazine online has a nice quick hit review of Boreal’s release of the Flyer ’86, a classic approach shoe that, except for a new Vibram Walk Friction rubber outsole, has remained unchanged for 25 years. One of the original sticky rubber approach shoes from back in the day, it seems like the slightly upgraded model has still got it, especially when it comes to keeping a tread on mud, gravel and rock.
