But the new Rogue YBB mountain bike frame ($3,495) may be the mountain bike frame to end all mountain bike frames. The hand-built all-titanium rig comes with YBB soft-tail pivotless suspension that delivers just more than one inch of travel in the rear for hours-long comfort on cross-country rides. The curved down tube accommodates 27.5-inch tires—ideal for cross-country cycling, while the curved top tube and strutted seat tube are configured to deliver superior stand-over clearance. But it’s the details—the near-seamlessly welding, the careful buffering and decaling, the sexy curves in the bike that are lovingly cold-bent by hand to not compromise the metal’s strength—that really make this frame (and the others in the Moots line) stand apart from most stock bike frames.
